Welcome to criminologist.co. I’m Emma.

I’m so excited to welcome you to the updated Criminologist.co — a space I’ve been steadily building to reflect a simple but powerful mission: reimagining justice, sustainability, and technology in ways that make systems fairer, smarter, and more human.

Over the past few years, my career has moved across the fields of criminology, climate strategy, and government transformation. Through it all, I’ve been drawn to a bigger question: What if we designed our systems to actually support people and the planet?

That question sits at the heart of this site.

Here, you’ll find a mix of:

  • Resources — including presentations, toolkits, and practical guides for people working at the intersections of sustainability, justice, and governance
  • Blog reflections — on systems change, tech futures, resilience planning, and the little sparks of imagination that can shift the course of our institutions
  • Project highlights — showcasing the work I’ve done in emissions reduction, climate resilience, risk mapping, and police transformation
  • And soon… digital tools and templates you can download and adapt for your own work

This site is still evolving, and that’s by design. It’s a living space — a place to experiment, connect, and share ideas that might just help shape something better.

Thanks for being here. Have a look around, and if anything resonates (or raises questions), I’d love to hear from you.

With curiosity and conviction,

Emma
